Diagnosis

Flagellomeres short in both sexes; vertex smooth and shiny; eyes bare; malar sulcus missing; thoracic dorsum strongly convex; pronotum reduced, not visible in dorsal view, without transverse carina; mesoscutum and scutellum with strong reticulation, scutellum as long as wide; notaular depressions ± distinct and large posteriorly, with weak to strong reticulation or smooth, and ± a median carina to separate them; propodeum smooth and shiny, strongly sloping, with two curved carinae from upper corners of petiolar foramen; second gastral tergite not large, tergites 1+2 cover 0.5X the length of gaster, hind margin of first gastral tergite straight; apical ovipositor sheaths as long as wide.

Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Saint Vincent, Trinidad & Tobago, USA.

Biology

Parasite in eggs of Lema trilineata Oliv. (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae).
